La Jeunesse is always looking for new choir members aged 4 - 6 and 7 – 19 who love to sing. If they’d also like to dance and act, our Musical Theatre Intensive program is a great additional activity to supplement their choral training. For "Les Petits", our choir for children aged 4 - 6, no audition is required. For our other choirs, while an audition is required, no experience is necessary, and the audition process is designed to be fun and non-threatening.

 

New singers are asked to prepare a familiar piece in any style to be sung “a capella”. Children wishing to audition in pairs are encouraged to do so if they require the support, but they may be asked to sing on their own. We can audition new members at several points in the year.
